On Essence
What is the essence of the life?
The purpose of our daily awakening,
The pursuit and the strife
For better beginnings and endings
What is the ultimate joy?
What is man’s true happiness?
Cause sadness is readily felt
One bad move and fate is twisted.
The fight for that man is over.
Through countless thoughts and struggles
Only for the hopes of tomorrow
A day with a better future
A future he may not see.

What then is the sole adventure?
For measures to bide therewith
When we know not when we can say,
We are happy, it is okay.
We have lived, we have fulfilled our essence.
