Inspiration & Desire

What do you really want?
Why must you have it?
What difference will it make?
Questions burning
on Desire's tongue.
If these questions
cannot be answered
If the vision isn't clear,
as the blue sky's beach days,
If you can't feel it like the sun-ray's
warm caress of your skin
there is no way you can win.
like smoke it will remain untouchable.
Comfort zones and self sabotage
a mirage that makes us elude our becoming.
The gravest regret is to look back and regret,
what could have been, what should have been,
If we only persisted and had the discipline.
One droplet at a time, eventually it pierces
The trickle leads to a flood.
Intrinsically we know what must be done
under the cyclical seasons of the sun.
When inspiration whispers
delicately in your mind
action is what she expects.
Never neglect the ideas she brings,
magical dust on buttery wings.
She will guide your every step
especially when we get in tune
and know
What we really want.
Let her twin, Desire, engulf your soul.
