A butterfly that stayed very quiet for you. Perhaps he understood that he would become ... poetry!

Once one opens their eyes to the fun and beauty of this world, a fading smile isnt even possible albeit for more than a moment.
That is the God's honest truth. Life is so beautiful, so precious. All we have to do is let the sun shine in. So today is a perfect example. After yesterday's face plant, I still got up and out with those new running shoes. Yes...
But, all went well and even than that, my timing was the best it has been in a month. Go figure. So, the moral to that story is... I am keeping them for another day. :) We'll see if that was a fluke or what.

Beautiful butterfly photo. They are so gorgeous, and SO fragile looking. Though as @ocrdu says, they can put up with a lot of wind. Amazing. Loved your poem to go along with. The butterfly's are having a bad time of it, and need all the help they can get.

They are truly a gorgeous part of nature and isn't it funny how they can take a lot of wind, but, the mere touch of my finger wipes away their beauty? I do what I can to protect and feed them with my butterfly garden, flowers they readily love...I hope we can do enough to save one of the most beautiful parts of nature.
The stairs were in Curacao, off the coast of Venezuela. It was warm, but, not hot because of the ocean breeze. It was rather steep, but, very navigatable.
