Evil of the times
Sink its fang into my mind
I think of many tomorrows
And its torrent of torment
I do nothing but worry
Of the prevailing trend...
🌹❤

Why are there cracks
In every sidewalk?
Why has man in place of liberty
Chosen tethers
Shackles...
🌹❤

With teeth like daggers
We devour
We have become as predators
Silently waiting for our prey
Sulking
Stalking
Scavenging...
🌹❤

There's freedom in the winds
In love...
Yet we embrace hate
And lust after its tentacles
So it spreads and festers
A gangrenous sore
That refuses healing
Soothing...
🌹❤

Breathe freedom
Breathe love
Away with the shackles
That only suffocates
Away from the hatred
That only binds...
🌹❤

Walk on the moon
Fly high in the skies
Slide through the Oceans
Grasp the love
That you are made from
Sheath your swords
And in one swift embrace
Cuddle your dreams
As one big family...
🌹❤
