"Seek truth" - A Poem
Before you say it
Before you spread it
Know this:
Falsehoods weaken
The impact of the accurate
No matter how many
Seductive points they make
No matter what side
They bolster
Whose ‘king’ they’re aimed for
When those words ring
They can’t be recalled
They affect us all
Let’s not dance on those strings
Jerked by puppet masters
Orchestrating our disaster
Seek truth!
Speak truth!
No matter where it hides
Especially when suspicious lies
Fall conveniently in your lap
Engineered for your world view
There are lies being spread online for every political angle. No matter what your ideology is, there are lies targetting you too. Even if it’s tempting to share them with other people who have similar views, that’s a trap. Investigate for yourself and dig deeper. People may still trick us but at least they’ll have to work for it...

The Truth is a unique force in the universe. The Truth is true. However, despite its inarguable power, acceptance of The Truth is not yet universal.
That's a tricky one. Absolute truth is something that I consider to be beyond us mere mortals. We don't have the ability to perceive reality at that level so the best we can do is have a well constructed concept of 'relative truth' based on the information that's available to us. It will never be perfect but it's better to aim to maximise truth than to give up and accept all lies because perfect knowledge is unattainble. That's just my opinion though.
There is a proverb that say seek the facts and hold the one thats true. This is a really nice post, once a rumor starts spreading whether true or false it can't be recalled
Thanks, I think it's especially important to consider what's true or not because people's lives can be ruined or lost based on misinformation that is so easy to toss about.
