Your head resting on the laps of your sweetheart
While admiring the sparkling stones in the sky
And while you sleep
Your eyes become forever closed
The world will not standstill.
The winner of numberless laurels
You whose knife slices through intricate fleshes
To mine life in the darkest of places
The world will not standstill.
Her eyes bleeding pain and sorrow
Another man will soon rest on her laps
To take your irreplaceable place.
The world will not standstill.
For life is not worth living
When the living leaves without living.
Enjoy the moments as they come my friend
The world will not standstill
When your eyes become forever closed.
