I gave all I could but you kept reaching
You took all i had but kept demanding for more
Until you drained me and left me high and dry, An emotional wreck.

You took it all but never gave
The scale was unbalanced but you were too blinded by your selfish desire to notice.

The pain doesn't just go away,
I wish you didn't have this soft spot in my heart.
I wish I wasn't a good person
I wish I could hate you
I wish I didn't still miss you
I wish murder could go unpunished
I wish...

Every now and then the pain strikes me so hard
The hole in my heart so deep I feel like I'd die.
It'll get easier they say
I know that one day you'll be nothing but a fleeting memory to me
We'll be nothing but familiar strangers
But until then,
I'll welcome my pain and enjoy it.
