Thinking of you, God,
Watching me
I don’t mind you
Watching over me,
But I get scared
When you come close
I’ve heard you
Speak out loud to me—
Not many can say that
And I don’t take it lightly
But somehow it seemed easy
And didn’t scare me at all—
Maybe you did that to me
So I wouldn’t run
But listen to your call
I know it sounds crazy
But you scare me
I know you made me
And I’m okay with you
Up on that Moses Mountain
But not the way you’re near me now
Don’t frighten me by staring—
Talk or illumine a page
The way you did
When I was seventeen
But don’t make me crazy, God,
By watching me so closely.
It sounds like God IS speaking to you. You need to not be afraid or so self conscious. There isn't anything you can hide from Him anyway.Let Him speak to you on His terms, not yours. There is nothing to be afraid of.
Remember He's already told you -
Also, the fire you fear is not a consuming fire, it's the Refiner's Fire.

If you weren't fallible you'd be the Pope. lol.....ugh. We have all sinned and fallen short....you are part of the "all". Think about it. :)
God, when we're afraid of him, we go to him.
Yes, we do when we're afraid, but what do we do when we're afraid of him?
Get close to him and ask for forgiveness.

“Do you believe in god” he said “ No, but I am afraid of him”

I think they say something about fear being the only enemy.
In every kind of love there is fear
When we are afraid to lose it ... I suppose. But I do not think you can lose the love you speak of in this poem.
Why should you be afraid, it is a process that can make you successful
Fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom
