A STRANGE HOME (An Original Poetry)

We are travellers with vagabonds spirits
familiar with the oozing strangeness
that comes with terrestriality
looking for abodes to lay our mandibles.
the land is green with chlorophyll
laden with the warmth of the yellow sun.
bursting forth like cinnamon's flavour
as the sweet rhythm of the air
makes love to the tenderness of the skin.
We're aliens with no umbilical cords
no nostrils to gazump the earth's nutrients
we allowed wombs to carry us through
like robots will human skins
a skin to taste the cream cones
the sonorous smiles of young ones
as they reflect pure innocence
as they murder our hostility in cold blood
with the tiny curve in their smiles.
We're beelzebub reborn to thrive
hiding openly in secret
yearning for the taste of love
like the dropping of the rain
on the scorched embers of the tongue
speak in gibberish tones like hieroglyphics
we are spartans with metallic limbs.
green blooded beasts with a hunger
to drink of the earth's crust.
Now, even now
the coming of the snow is heralding
the rose bushes and the chrysanthemum
the fragrance of humanity is appealing
like the taste of a empyrean blade
on the creaminess of the flesh.
we halt our Odyssey to travel again
creating reveries of a hallucinated world
where we shall live again

I truly believe that this is the case. We are the aliens of this planet, and many times before we've proven that we don't belong here.
Hahahaha you're definitely right about that one, humans sometimes duplicate their existences by making themselves strangers in their own homes.

I ran into your poem on a day that feel more disappointed than ever about humanity.
The poem creates disturbing images of what we may be or what we may have become.
If there was something good about humanity it must have been as ephimeral as childhood
As of right now, judging by our dealings on earth, we were either invaded and substituted by some alien entities or we have just made up stories of an ancient past of immense possibilities that will never materialize.
