DECEIT FOR DESSERT (An Original Poetry)

flowers flowing flood,
abroad, scattered ashore,
a comely kiss, a blade to thrust
tears, crocodile flowing down the breast
and courage was betrayed.
Our heart grilled like fishes,
and bayonets of lies, stabbing
bitter as gall, sweetly down the throat
The taste, like deceit for dessert
a crumbled feeling in the loins,
we're demons with devil's accents,
we speak from the heart's uttermost,
the world lives in our tongues,
wrapped up like candy in the throat,
we float, gloat on our apparels,
but the boat of honest is shipwrecked
the tales we tell are twisted,
like a whirlwind in a maze
Deceit for dessert, a burning recipe,
Our life is like a meal,
eaten amidst fake feigned smiles,
alligators in the conscience,
violence living in the mind,
the smiles are daunting as angels,
but we're contorted, blotted by hatred,
bend reality into beautiful fallacies.
Deceit for dessert,
scowling the wilderness like nomads,
we're living in the vivacity of our vapidity,
feeding on breakfasts of stupidity,
custard and broken bottles,
travelling like a swift down the gullet,
Alas! we wrote our ephiphany,
bested by our desires to live,
and buried by our confidence.
