Summertime

I want to share a poem that I wrote about love. I shared this poem with a composer to get it transformed into music.

Summertime

I feel lonely during summer time
That’s when you go away
Please think of me next summertime
Don’t go away, please stay.
Winter time,
I’m fine
During spring
I like to sing
During the heat
I lose some sleep
Because summer days, you go away
That’s when I want you to stay.

Summer time is near
My biggest fear is here
You come to me and say
This time my dear, I’ll stay
Summer comes, we have fun
In the sun, you are my hun
I feel happy during summertime
That’s when you decided to stay.
