talks about the night,
supplications to the supreme
This day and everyday after
across the seven continents,
in the dusty cloud of the sahel
to the freezing steam of the pacific.
We paddle in turbulent currents
We weather every storm
As so we lift our heads up
In gratitude of a beautiful new day.
