COLORS
Those that will make you feel the world's wonders;
You'll yearn for these intoxicating feelings all the more,
Breathing it all in as you heart expands and roars.
But Colors was never meant to stay,
like seeing the sunset right before everything turns gray;
We just couldn't stop them, could we?
Even if you cry a river or fall to your knees.
You have to learn to move on while the night holds fast,
Colors are truly depressing and was never meant to last;
Someone out there is a beguiling shadow — a black light,
The one that has it all, waiting quietly—praying all night.
