gata lon puji uroe ngoen malam hana teubayang meunoe terjadi..
Tinggai lon sidroe jinoe meulang lang,
Hudep teuh lajang teurasa sepi,
Teuduk teu tahoe hana tom garang,
Ka meuhi bangai oh gop peurati..
Meuseubab ujeun punoh ie kubang,
Ie krung pasangan pih leupah ngeri,
Meuseubab cinta ule lon mumanga,
Rab gadoh akai jak bunuh diri..
Andai jih tuboh seubagoe talam,
tan teuduk iman sama sekali,
Kajadeh hate ngoen perasaan,
Bah mate badan rela di hati..
Kecewa cinta hana bandengan
Reuloh pikiran rasa sang meuri
