Life is a simile
Presented to us as a metaphor
Ignorance is sometimes heavenly
And that’s what this poem is for
Nothing is as it seems
Look deeper and see the depth of things
Reality is harsh, but it’s foolish to live in dreams
Separate is never equal, and that’s the truth of things
