See how the course of a poem changes: in the first two stanzas the description of the landscape and then that third and fourth definitive stanza, @johnjgeddes. In this poem we see how the lyrical voice refers us to the cold and loneliness of the landscape, which we sense is also within it. But in solitude and cold, there is a memory that unites them beyond distance. And winter sometimes has nothing to do with the weather, but with feelings.Two people together in memory! And if someone remembers you, that person is close, not far. Because distance is not measured in kilometres, but in forgetfulness and memories. Nice night for you.
