The sound of thunder will tell
you a secret, if you speak its language;
will tell you to be scared
and then give you your courage
.Music is always nostalgic
because there’s always something
to be nostalgic of, even nothingness.
The sound of thunder
makes you nostalgic of nothingness
then leaves you to the cricket’s chirp.
The chirping cricket
will make you expose your secret
and you won’t need a language.
The chirping of the cricket
forces you to be nostalgic of things
you’d rather not be nostalgic of.
(Is it nostalgia if it is unpleasant?)
The sound of thunder will tell you
that you awoke out of providence,
not provision.
