WAKE UP AGAIN ---- POETRY
You can’t wake up again.
When words drown you.
You can’t open the eyes.
When your stomach closes in pain.
You can’t eat slow again.
When food starts coming steady.
You can’t yield to the pain.
When you don’t know it’s there.
You can’t know the inconvenience of silence.
When even hearts don’t beat.
You can’t fall
asleep.
When dead silence
rises.
You can’t run out of luck.
When you run out of time.
You can’t run out of time.
When time runs in.
You can’t be empty inside.
When you’re a fool for something.
Your life can’t be under.
When your laugh isn’t over.
You can’t go home again.
When the journey doesn’t end.
Oh and please, brace yourself,
because Time is running in,
and you can’t afford
to hit nothing.
Now where is my vision?
