My Mom The Poet 💖 - 💖 אימי המשוררת

I will post this in english and also in hebrew for our lovely growing israelian community on steemit.

First in english 😃

For over 40 years my mom has been writing poetry and also children literature. There are over 30 published books she wrote.
My mom got her first book published when she was 26 y.o
and has written since, 4 poetry books which 2 of them won awards from the Ron - Adler foundation, the University of Haifa, Israel Department Of Education and Haifa Culture Foundation.

And now, after years of hard work, my dear mom got one of her poems publishen in a very prestigeus book, which includes poems wrote by many famos Israeli and jewish poets like Lea Goldberg, Natan Alterman,
Haim Nachman Bialik, Shaul Tchernichovsky and many more.

So without further delay, here's the book which my mom got her poem published in

Translation:

Exceeding words / Irit Vaisman Minkovich

The letters were my step words,
Said my mother wearily.
She tried to adopt them into her lips.
She chewed, stirred them in her mouth.
Her tongue kneaded each letter,
But they ignored her, renounced her voice,
They came out laughing and mocking.
And the language dropped from the womb of her mouth.

Here my mother said to the letters,
You did not come to me in my day,
And my mind was not spoken.
My voice did not raise his tongue,
And there was no alliance between us.
I have no Hebrew.
I'm barren.

.במשך למעלה מ40 שנה כותבת אימי שירה וספרי ילדים
את ספרה הראשון פרסמה בגיל 26 ומאז כתבה למעלה מ30 ספרים שראו אור, בניהם ספרי ילדים רבים. ארבעה מספריה זכו בפרס מקרן רון-אדלר, מאוניברסיטת חיפה , ממשרד החינוך ומקרן תרבות חיפה.

אחרי שנים רבות של כתיבה, השקעה ועבודה קשה בתחום, פורסם לאחרונה אחד משיריה בספר "עורי שפת מדבר" המכיל בתוכו יצירות של מיטב משוררי ישראל כמו שאול צ'רניחובסקי, לאה גולדברג, נתן אלטרמן וחיים נחמן ביאליק. כמובן שצירפתי את השיר (שאשמח לחוות דעתכם לגביו), של אימי וכמובן יצירות מפורסמות נוספות מהספר "עורי שפת מדבר"
