Emotions - Not For Men?
Few people ask us - men, what is wrong
We keep it all bottled in, even our song
As a man, you can't wear your face so long
We hurt too but very few people know this
Being tender has been tagged to the women
Once you show emotions, there comes the chorus
"Stop acting like a woman" you are not porous
I got asked today in a long while how I am doing
Not the superficial 'how are you doing?'
But with deep undertone of 'how are you really doing?'
It's a huge compliment to expect us to be strong
But there is no perfect way to act in the face of emotions
You take it as they come and apply it like lotions
There is a place to show your human side
Let it all out and purge yourself but move on
It is not only for the men but lesson for everyone
Down moments will come, but don't dwell too long on it
Never keep your life on hold, I know things will get better
