WHEN WILL IT BE?{AN ORIGINAL POETRY}

I know burning midnight candle
Is nothing but your routine.
Expending extra effort in the expense of becoming an outstanding being,
Is what you never joke with.

Hence, the old cherish you for who you are,
The young make you their role model.
Not because you are a model,
But because your lifestyle models that of a successor.

Though you possess the features of a successor,
Yet, you find yourself merry-go-rounding around the door to success
While your goal remain as a mere dream.
What an irony of life.

When will it be?
When will it be my turn to be celebrated?
When will my dream become reality?
These are what your heart cries for in pain.

However, had it been that a dream is visible before manifesting,
You would have seen your dream smiling behind you.
But it is yet to manifest because you are supposed to be a sun at the center of stars,
Which makes it difficult for you to manifest as a mere successor
Instead of manifesting as a successor to successors.

Therefore, the time to work harder is now,
For you have few more minutes to work
In order to crown your efforts with befitting reward.
The time to own the prove that you are the best of your kind is near,
Don’t give-up.
