They say love is blind but mine does see; it just overlooks
It sees your lies yet believes it to be true
It caught you deceiving my heart but let you slip through
My love was genuine but now you've made it adopt the crooks

I was true
My smiles were real
My stares were wrapped with passionate zeal
I bet you don't have a clue

I saw a restriction yet kept hoping
You always wore hope on your face
That hope is recessed without a trace
It's almost dead; the love is dying
