RE: The Inevitability Of Decision Making - A Brief Review of Robert Frost's Poem, The Road Not Taken

in #poetry5 years ago

I enjoyed your review of the poem. It is indeed one of the finest poems I have read. I especially like the last two sentences of the poem. They speak volumes. In life too, often, choosing one less popular choice/option over another has/will make all the difference.

Sort:

Yes, that is the essential message of the poem; that the most important point is to decide for yourself, and to avoid following the path that everyone else takes. That makes "all the difference."

Thank you for your reply.

I have felt the power, truism and inspiration behind those words ever since I read them many moons ago. It's funny how some words stuck with you. Maybe therein lies the excellence of the writer, and the power of words. Cheers! :-)

Glad you enjoyed the review. Cheers!
