Like A Comet; The Blaq Rose
Blaq rose,
Sparkled at dawn,
Illuminated the night with her glow
Seared my turned turmoil with her Hue,
Black rose,
Colored like the stars,
She sat on high, at the top of her
Slender branch
She took in dew and perfumed earth
With her subtle scent,
My blaq rose bathed with glitters
From the butterflies wings

With beauty untold,
She knew no fears and saw no weakness
How she wore her blaq skin like gold
But when you spoke,
When you ridiculed her hue,
When you asked why she was blaq,
When you kicked her out of your
Bouquet because she seemed odd,
She fell,
You trampled on my blaq rose,
Plucked all her petals,
You!
Whose eyes were closed,
You!
Who saw with closed eyes,
You!
Who wrecked my beautiful blaq
Rose
Who shot darts, and knives
You who struck the match,
You who ridiculed my blaq rose.
But she'd arise, like the sun
This time darker and brighter,
Don't dare come near her,
This time, certainly
She comes with power and will
Like a comet...
And to all the fallen blaq roses,
It's time to arise,
Never to fall or hide from sight again
