The Muse
"The Muse"
the clouds are gathering
angry dusts chase
the seven hurricanes
that scatter them in all
ethereal directions
vulcanoes are erupting
and earthquakes topple
the human achievements
of millenia past
do you believe in soothsaying?
listen to the son of the Muse
sing the songs of the season
inspired by his father's art
the lions are restless
in their densely populated dens
the heat of sanity boils hot
the pot of their calamity
the cubs, born in and initiated
into evil, are willing arrows
in the scheme of final conspiracy
to dethrone Integrity so that
Compromise can ascend the throne
three arrows in one day
with all the tactics of gaslighting
— a weapon deployed by cowards
with no face.
the year next is for reckoning
Evil rejoices today
Integrity will succeed tomorrow
and Compromise will be gone forever
beware of Corruption
in the garbs of Change!
when the three man mafia
come together, the thunder
of innocence will scatter them
the Muse says so
the Muse says so
the Muse says so
let the rain that follows thunder pour,
let the thunder that follows lightening strike,
let the lightening that follows gloomy clouds flash,
let the son of the Muse hide in these elements
until the storm and its debris are past. . .
