Depression
The righteous fear that shrivels hearts
Bending them and teasing them into darts
Aiming for everything but middle of the chart
An existence muffled in trade for a powerless deal

Power already had sold to the foolhardy sweetheart
Promising the world of an imaginary universe in cart
Purchasing a date with the succubus to the big depart
Only to feel for a short moment a burst of the true feel
A fleeting satisfaction as slippery and sneaky like water part
A heavenly sensation filling the whole body giving a jumpstart
The climax, as unfulfilling and unsatisfactory as a spare part
The great abyss can never get wider, yet it does amidst the meal
A deal with the devil it is termed but perfect as fine art
Bringing to light the true truth of one's desire flow chart
The vermin in the crowd selling everything for a restart
The pressure of the due date creating a depression to kneel
