The solitude of prime numbers

in #poetry6 years ago

❝For the first time he was ashamed of not having a driver's license at twenty-two. That was another of the things that had been missed, another of the usual steps of the life of a young man that he had preferred not to give, in order to remain outside the cog in the life; like eating popcorn at the cinema, sitting on the back of the benches, not respecting the time to return home imposed by parents, playing football with aluminum foil balls or being naked before a girl. And he thought that would change. Yes, I would get the card as soon as possible. And I would do it for her, to take her out for a drive. Because-fear gave him admit it-when he was with her he felt it was worth doing all those normal things that normal people do.❞

This beautiful quote by Paolo Giordano awaits under his work "The loneliness of prime numbers", a charming book that really conveys its purpose. A title was never so real. Hopefully they will be encouraged to read it, or if they have already done so, they can comment on what they thought.

Did you know that there is something called "Twin prime numbers"? Basically the prime numbers are called twins if one of them is equal to the other plus two units, in a simpler way, they are two prime numbers that have an even number in between, so it is said that although they are very close they will never be together . Thus, the prime numbers 3 and 5 form a pair of twin cousins.
