Into the fray
Flying, flying into the winds driven by the dark screaming hounds
Catching the edge of the silver lining, pulling to unwind the clouds
Slicing rain bites to the skin not as deep as that of those who reign
Drawing blood to the surface, underneath the bubbling boiling pain
The roads are wide and into the hell of tyranny they will only know
The paths of the free are narrow, and covered in shards and bones
Battles are raging across the plains and taking wing high into skies
Bird's eye view of the desolation, remnants left from all of the lies
Stand aside and do not take up arms as it is not your place or fight
Live in peace in the cage of your creation, bend knee to our might
Lift head and break the bonds and stare down the system's keeper
Ring the bells and sirens loud, awaken the hearts of every sleeper
Draw strength from those who have come before but couldn't stay
Run, run toward the storm ahead, understand and enter the fray.

It does take courage and I think I have shied away from the fray far to often in life.
Hi Taraz. is that one of your photo's? Looks quite evil and showing the calm before the storm. Weird how everything is kind of settled before nature unleashes it's powers.
Yes, from the car with my phone so... not a great one but tells the story. When everything is calm, get ready.
When we see dark clouds like that we expect hail. The hail here will redesign the shape of your car in seconds. Not quite as big as golf balls but will break windows. If you are driving you look for cover as normally the insurance companies don't write the cars off these days. They don't come back perfect from the panel beaters either and are easy to spot at the car auctions.
My dad once bought a government hail damaged car really cheap. A few dings, all good ;)
Lol. If you don't mind a bit of character that is fine. Nothing wrong with the engine and it would be a much cheaper price.
My late mum came to mind... Thank you for this line.

There is nothing that gives me joy than when I stay in my "cage" creating artworks from my memory.
