How to be brave and not brave at the same time! ;)

I decided to be brave and put up a poem today. But I wasn't brave enough to put up a personal one. This is a poem I wrote for a friend's wedding back in 2008.

               Now that we are gathered here
                Your journey’s at the start
             To share the burdens of this world
                And hold each others heart

            You’ve made the choice to be as one
               The life ahead you’ve planned
                 To face the world together
                  And face it hand in hand

           The love you have will see you through
                You’ll always have each other
               The willing one who chose you as
                Their partner, friend and lover

              The road ahead well may be hard
               But you'll face it now as two
                No longer will you be alone
               And love will see you through

              And when you say the vows today
               You'll take each others hand
             Declare your love for all to see
                Pledged by a wedding band
