With faith that is tenacious,
I hold on to the unseen.
Believing it will come.
On Gods promise I do lean.

I don't believe that tenacious faith is believing we'll get what we ask for. Tenacious faith is continuing to trust in God regardless of what happens. Even when your children are stillborn. Even when your wife dies at age 30. I continued to trust in God. After a couple of years I remarried. I helped raise my stepson. My life isn't what I anticipated or even what I wanted at first. But it's been a good life.
