SInce you first made this comparison (poetry is a form of code), I kept thinking about how smart it is and also how true it is. ... It's a kind of moidern truism. Quite Tao in a way I think.

Now I've a poem to quote your very clever observation about poetry being an effort to elicit a reaction. It's interesting when people react in a surprising way to what you write too, when the interpretation is quite unexpected.
