Pokémon, Pokémon, Pokémon!

Pokémon continues to be a strong franchise in 2018, and recent reveals show no signs of it slowing down!

Dragon Majesty was recently revealed for the Trading Card Game which will be a small side-set focused on Dragon-type Pokémon.  This set will be released similarly to Generations and Shining Legends where you will not be able to purchase individual boosters or booster boxes.  The first releases of this set are launching on September 7!

Funko will be releasing Pokémon figures.  One of the first will be a Target-exclusive Pikachu figure!  With the recently announced Zeraora, and the 8th Generation of games set to release in 2019, will they release a Funko figure for all 807+?!

This weekend is Pokémon GO Fest in Chicago, Illinois.  With this event, Plusle and Minun are spawning all over with the possibility of being Shiny.  Additionally, Alolan forms of Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Diglett, and Dugtrio have started to appear all over the world.  Third, players are being tasked with research projects world-wide to unlock special bonuses such as extra experience or candy.  Finally, those that attend GO Fest, and likely coming soon world-wide, are new research tasks to unlock the Mythical Pokémon Celebi!

Earlier week, Pokémon released new trailers for their Nintendo Switch games set to release worldwide on November 16.  These trailers gave more details and hints to the games features.  Of what was shown, some highlights include Jessie, James and Meowth from Team Rocket returning to the games, Legendary Pokémon will have to be battled as opposed to just caught, an updated Kanto map was shown, and Misty's new look has been revealed.
