Things are not rosy for anarchists (in most places)

Let's face it: we live in an unfree world. Did you even doubt that fact? Yet there are ways to bob-and-weave.

The oldest means is to get a few different passports, ditch the USA's or Russia's if you happen to have either of them, as well as any hardcore Muslim or quasi-communist nation's passport (goes without saying), get another country's passport instead, and become a perpetual tourist (PT) or perpetual traveler. Being a PT means putting your funds and hard assets in multiple offshore jurisdictions or in crypto-currencies and adopting a mobile lifestyle, never living for more than several weeks in your country of citizenship (mainly to avoid tax issues). You may own some farmland or rental real estate in other countries, or maybe even several homes of your own as a foreigner. But the key is to always have a valid tourist visa for 90/180 days (as the limits go) and then leave the country in a timely manner so as not to get in trouble with the authorities. You may return right away or go to one of your other "home" countries to start yet another 90/180-day stint.

Another more "stable" means is to be set up like a PT but establish residency in a mostly-free place, like one of many islands or your favorite (expensive) European enclave or Switzerland, not to mention Hong Kong or (if you can take the social fascism) Singapore. One might also add Chile or New Zealand (both good passports and OECD countries) to the list as states where, if he plans and acts well, his tax burden may be greatly reduced, sometimes nearly to zero, and the government will largely leave him alone. The landscapes in all of the above places range from beautiful to wonderful and in them a man may live out his days in health and prosperity, with little fear of being murdered, kidnapped, bombed or invaded by other nations, or becoming a victim of corruption.

Chile offers some advantages over all of the others. First, the cost of living is far cheaper. Second, the political landscape is more favorable than the rest, with new rules having recently been put into place that could facilitate true libertarians being put into Congress and a new pro-business (albeit centrist) president starting in March that should lead to economic growth and even greater political freedom and stronger property rights. Third, while nearly all "larger" countries of the world are going the wrong way lately, and that includes both Enzed and Trumptown, and many others are making lateral rather than upward moves, like Panama, Georgia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Colombia, Chile is once again tending to move in the right direction. Fourth, flights to Oceania, Europe and North America are plentiful and competitively-priced. You can get back to the land of the free or vassal states quite easily. Fifth, internet and cell service in Chile are fabulous and reasonably-priced.

Since I brought up Chile in such detail, indulge me with a small advertisement. For more information on becoming a resident of Chile, or at least a priority PT stopover, I suggest that you follow @escapeamericanow on Steemit or visit our blog.
