I totally agree with you, there is no reason to make cars be able to reach speeds higher than the normal speed limit. So many people think they're "THE BOMB" when it comes to driving, but they aren't. Too many forget how to drive in rainy/foggy/snowy weather and the thought of those people being able to go even 120 km/h scares the crud out of me.
