You have to remember wars are good for business. It creates jobs and gets the economy going. There is also the the obvious benefits in these particular countries. Oil.
I really don't buy the oil excuse; the US is the second largest producer of the damn thing...perhaps soon to be the largest. I can't help but think the conflicts in the Middle East benefit the 'deep state'. Lot's of money being made in the black market from sales of arms for instance
