Joe Rogan Podcast #1106 - Colion Noir
Gun Rights Activist, Lawyer, NRA Member

This was a great conversation regarding various aspects of guns, gun control, mental health issues and the like. Refreshingly honest.

If you are anti-gun, you should try to watch the first 20 minutes of this podcast.
Challenge your ideas - don't be afraid of opposition.

Quoted Highlights:

"(The Left) are framing the entire conversation under need, but that's not what the 2A is about. Its about a Right that I already have, a right that I had the second I was put on this earth, as a person. The right to self-defense is universal."

65% of Gun Deaths Being Suicides:
"How many lives would we actually save if we took that energy of 'making guns evil' and 'trying to ban guns' and put it towards understanding why as a society, we have a society, that is so eager to not want to be here anymore. Expand that a little more, 'cause we have all the guns in the universe, here in America, right? Compared to any other country, but yet, our suicide rates should be exceedingly higher than all the other countries that don't have as many guns - but its not the case. Look at the UK, look at Japan - Japan has double our suicide rate.”

“And again, confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance is a bitch, and we all suffer from it to an extent. But, when you add in the component of fear - For a lot of people, they don't necessarily hate guns – their just scared of them.”

Regarding Anti-Gun Perspectives:
“And the thing about it is though, those people never put themselves in the position of being the shooter, they always put themselves in the position of being the victim of a shooting. So that's why you get 'Well why do you need that?' cause they don't see it as – Well this allows me to better defend myself, they put it in the perspective of 'Well if you're allowed to have that you might use that against me'.

In Regards to London and the Knife Ban:
“And they have an uptick in Acid Attacks... I think I'd rather be shot.”

Sort:

Everyone wants to yell 'Take away the guns!' when mass shootings occur.

The fact is, technically any form of gun control is unconstitutional. I believe we should have some checks & balances implemented.

With that said, we need to start asking 'Why' when it comes to these mass shootings. The individual who carried out the crime must take responsibility.

To always make the conversation about gun control is covering up the real problem - the real reason these mentally ill individuals make the decision to commit such a horrendous act.

Agreed.
How many people die in prisons every year? The most heavily restricted and controlled environment in the country.

People who want to commit acts of violence will find a way. Always have.
Just look at Britian... Their banning kitchen knives. What's next? Forks? Pointy Sticks? Rocks?

Jack the Ripper didn't need guns.

Amy #Schumer is a gun control nut because she is related to crooked politician Chuck Schumer, one of the biggest advocates for restricting gun rights.
