RE: Calling Out the U.S. Government's Support of al-Qaeda and ISIS

in #politics6 years ago

The Trump administration may not directly support al-Qaeda or ISIS, but there are people running things that make it look like it. They want Assad gone, and have been trying to get that done for the past six years.

Not possible, Trump has only been president for two years.

Sort:

Trump isn't the totality of government and the pressure for certain actions to be taken.

we have to be careful when saying "they" to say who "they" are. If we say "the government" we are not pointing out the specific bad actors or individuals responsible for whatever it is we are blaming the government for.

Very possible, b/c the "people running things" who want Assad gone, have been trying to get that done for the past six years, now they are just using Trump to push their agenda, as they used Obama before him. And Trump just goes along with the show like the good little puppet he is...

It's interesting because for a while they pulled the White Hat funding but then it was restored, it's hard to say what exactly Trump is going along with. Too soon to tell. Trump unlike Obama hasn't started any new wars has he?
Trump, unlike every other president, met with the head of N Korea, working towards ending our longest running war, that's different. A few months before the media was screaming he was on the verge of causing WW3. We have an embassy going up in Jerusalem, peace is on the horizon.

It's funny, after Trump launched the rockets at the Syrian air base after whatever false flag attack was used to justify that no less than Chuck Schumer started praising him!

Given the resistance he faces it might take a little time for Trump to achieve his goal of world peace, it has only been two years. Let him make the world great again in his second term.
