Tareq removed new acting chairman?

The international community requested Tarek Zia to remove the responsibility of BNP chief. The United States, UK and India have made this request to the BNP leaders separately.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed and Dr. The three diplomats of Moeen Khan have requested this.

Responsible sources of the BNP acknowledged this news. Earlier, the BNP formally briefed Begum Zia's jail and current political situation with these countries.

Two rounds of meeting with the diplomats of 14 countries were held. But a development partner, except Pakistan, did not give any concern, anxiety about the arrest of Khaleda Zia. Rather, they expressed surprise at the absence of Begum Zia acting chairman of Tarek Zia.

Ten days after the arrest of Begum Zia, the influential three countries took formal position on Tariq Zia. According to sources, an official from the US Embassy met with BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Saturday night.

He urged Tarique Zia to keep away from BNP's leadership till the election. For the sake of participatory and acceptable elections, the US position is that Tarique Zia, also a convicted accused, like Begum Zia.

The US has a negative connotation about its activities. That is why Tarek Zia leads the BNP if any US sympathizes with the BNP is not possible, the US representative said.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam, however, assured the matter to be discussed in the party forum. Barrister Moudud Ahmed met a senior officer of the British Embassy in Bangladesh on Sunday noon.

British diplomat told Moudud, "Tarek Zia is in political shelter in London. So it is impossible for him to lead the party. The British diplomat believes that the current law, led by Tarique Zia, is contemptuous of courts and judicial system.

An Indian Embassy official, BNP standing committee member said on Sunday. Moin Khan met with Khan. The Indian diplomat said that India has not been able to support any program for Tarique Zia even after making reasonable demands on the BNP's election question.

India also said that if the BNP leader is Tarique Jia, India will not pressurize the government to take part in all the participative elections.

Several sources of the BNP say that the BNP standing committee will sit soon. In place of Tarek Zia, there will be steps to take the new chairman into acting.

However, it is not clear whether this is the first phase of BNP's breakdown. The same way. Khandaker Mosharraf, Barrister Moudud or someone else will be the acting chairman of the BNP during the time of crisis, yet it is not final yet.
