War Will Be Declared

Howard Schutz (not the man that wrote the comic series The Peanuts, that was Charles Schultz and he passed away in 2000) has indicated he is seriously considering running for president in 2020 as an independent. The first fear from the Democrats was that his campaign would siphon votes from the Democratic candidate assuring President Trump a re-election.

But now it's evident the threat is more imminent than the 2020 election. Howard Schultz has had the audacity to criticize plans the declared Democrat candidates are proposing. Shortly after Kamala Harris indicated she was in favor of eliminating the current healthcare insurance industry in favor of a single payer system ran by the government, Schultz pointed out that type of program was unworkable and would leave the U.S. government insolvent (meaning bankrupt). Now the Democrats have to deal with a fellow liberal shooting holes in their lies, I mean proposals. This can't happen. I imagine when Schultz first made the comments the Democratic Socialist leadership (Schumer, Pelosi, The Clintons, Harris, Warren, etc.) all had to hide in their safe spaces until they calmed down. The truth can be so frightening when you'r not used to it.

Now however, the Democratic Socialist have a fellow Democrat saying their proposals won't work and telling you why. Not only does the problem of siphoning off votes exists in the 2020 elections but now you have another voice speaking the truth. A voice that doesn't come from a Republican. Not only can they not let Schultz stay around and actually run in the election, the longer his campaign last with him spreading the truth the stronger the Trump campaign will be. This has too stop now.

If it hasn't happened already, what will happen is the Democratic Socialist leadership will mobilize the troops remaining in the FBI, Justice Department, maybe even the FDA to go to war. Who knows what they will come up with. Every person or business entity associated with Schultz will be looked at to find some evidence of wrong doing. The most obvious place to start is with Starbucks, hence getting the FDA involved.

Schultz currently owns 33 million shares of Starbucks which as of January 29th was around $67 per share. Starbucks represents $2.2 billion of Schultz's estimated net worth of $3.4 billion. In other words, Schultz isn't that well diversified. Damaging Starbucks could be the easiest way to get Schultz to drop the campaign and shut up.

There may be financial advisers out there recommending that you hold any Starbucks stock you have, maybe even buy more. I'm not a financial adviser and am in now way suggesting anything you should do with Starbucks stock. You can be like me and just draw conclusions from what is going on.
