The end of the Syrian war is close

 Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said that tomorrow he would go to Moscow, where he will talk with his Russian counterparts about the current situation in south-west Syria. Now the Syrian troops are conducting a large-scale offensive there, whose goal is to regain control over the whole region, which for several years was in the hands of various combat groups.

It is not necessary to separately pay attention to the fact that now there are several players who want this offensive to stop immediately. Jordan is only one of them. In addition to it, this is Israel, Saudi Arabia, France and the United States. Perhaps, Turkey could be included in this list, which already supports militants in Syria for many years. However, it seems that Turkey is primarily focused on Northern Syria, which is closer to the Turkish border.
The fact is that this offensive cannot be stopped. The idea that the militants will continue to control the border parts of South Syria, even after losing control of the internal areas, simply has no more relevance to reality. Most likely, that is why, before the beginning of the Syrian offensive, the United States signaled to the militant leaders in this region: they should not wait for American aid.
Over the past two years, the Syrian troops clearly seized the initiative; it is indisputable that the presence of enemy forces around the capital was fraught with a constant threat of a new breakthrough in the war. Now everything has changed significantly.
How will the southern offensive develop? Syrian troops will continue to conquer the region at a high speed, since among the militants there is confusion and vacillation.
Jordan, Israel and other players realize that the Syrian army cannot be stopped, at least in the south of Syria, but they hope that the Syrians can still be stopped in Moscow. The fact is that Russia has several times carefully "dosed" the aid of Syria, but, apparently, now is not the case. In the end, Russia has made the greatest contribution to this victory.
