What is your most trusted news source?

Once in a while do I allow some local newscasts to infiltrate my time, my peace and my intelligence. Last night at six o'clock I listened to one of them supposed to be news. Again, it was just another reminder why I won't watch the local news anymore. Can I say mindless?

These talking heads seemed more interested in reporting on their reporting than they did the report, telling how they broke into regular daytime television to report the report they were reporting at six. Got that? Then a host attacked an owner of a business that had had a failure in providing his service to his customers. The owner had had problems with stolen equipment and a number of employees leaving in a short period of time.
He was currently performing the work himself and issuing refunds to customers. Even as he was doing that he was in negotiations to sell the business to a competitor who could easily correct the issues. The news host attacked the man as a bully would attack a victim, in spite of the fact the owner was doing all the necessary things to correct the situation for the customers and was even willing to sell the business to a qualified competitor.
And as usual they had the dramatized stories with a last, or near last statement that completely disqualified the whole report and the fears that had been erroneously magnified and reported by the talking heads. Virtually a non story. Why can't they just report the news instead of trying to create or embellish the events? Who are the incompetent asses behind the scene on these broadcasts? Only idiots could watch this crap, not shake their heads, and think they are being truly informed. Their spin is so obvious it verges on hilarious, while being completely ludicrous. Whatever the TV channel's budget is for these shows is too much and the talking heads are probably overpaid into feeling "important" and celebrity like. The next time I need a reminder of why I don't watch these shows, it will be another local station. They are nearly all interchangeable.

It would be great to get the actual news and data without all the additional and unnecessary crap and errata. Yeah, I'm a poet. I would also include these local newscasts in the title of this page too, but it might serve to only inflate their already overinflated air of self importance and star-like egos. Crap, just give me the news already. Your so called "newscasts" are a waste of air, airtime, and are lame attempts at propaganda and fear mongering, that only works on the weakest of minds. Give me a break.
