You're very naive if you believed that green energy will be cheaper.
Governments have unbelievable imagination and power too.
They always get what they want and need.
Here in Alberta, you pay carbon tax on cremation of deceased people. In Italy, you pay tax on every entrance to your house and every chimney.
In Austro- Hungary empire more than 100 years ago, they paid tax on the size of the windows.
