Again, totally agree.

I watched the Daily Show & Colbert faithfully on comedy central and CBS, and couldn't imagine ever stopping. But I have stopped, it's depressing what has become of comedy. The only standard that matters now is a double standard.

There was a time when comedians would find the hypocrisy of politicians of all stripes, and expose it with humor. Now you actually hear people arguing that comedy no longer needs to be funny, just provocative.
