After a sham FBI investigation the Republicans vote Kavanaugh onto the Supreme Court

in #politics6 years ago

In August, a CNN/SSRS poll found that Brett Kavanaugh was the most unpopular Supreme Court nominee in modern American history, with 40 percent of Americans opposing his nomination, and only 37 percent supporting it. And the judge has only grown more disliked in the weeks since. In fact, by the time the Senate confirmed Kavanaugh to the Court this weekend, a majority of American voters wanted his nomination rejected.

My thoughts on this news

After the Republicans did their phony FBI investigation on Kavanaugh, which was limited in scope by instructions from the Trump administration and of course the FBI results were kept secret and not available to the public. On Saturday they cast their votes and made Kavanaugh a Supreme Court Justice. This is probably one of the worst decisions the Republican party has made in modern US history, they basically proved that the USA is not a democracy, it is in fact an oligarchy. Kavanaugh seems to be one of the most unpopular Supreme Court nominee in modern American history. In my opinion this may eventually get even worse for the Republican party, eventually more witnesses from his past will come forward to corroborate his accusers stories. Which will mean that Kavanaugh committed perjury under oath and will be easily impeached.

Sorry the interviews didn't shake your way.

""""""""""""""""interviews""""""""""""""""

No worries, there are no limits to which interviews can be done. The odds are Dr. Ford's witnesses won't be changing their statements to corroborate.

He likes beer.
