Cynthia Nixon wants to be Governor of New York, Vows to Legalize Weed If She Wins
As reported on earlier by The Root, the actress and longtime public schools activist recently hired kick-ass consultant L. Joy Williams to advise her campaign, and now she’s taking her progressive marijuana platform to the people, calling recreational legalization of the sticky-icky in New York a “racial justice issue.”

My thoughts on this news
I don't really care if famous people run for office, does not bother me either way. What is important to me is what they say they will do and how they will help the American people. So far Cynthia seems like her ideas are very progressive and that is what this country needs. People need to stop voting for corrupt politicians and start electing progressive politicians that will help the majority of the people in this country. In my opinion all drugs should be legalized, regulated and taxed just like alcohol and tobacco is today. We are wasting money fighting a pointless war on drugs when the taxes collected from those drugs could be used to provide free medical help to those who are dealing with addiction problems. Instead we are spending tax money we don't have enough of to lock people up in jail for minor drug offenses. The only people that belong in jail are the ones that commit violent crimes...
Voting for leg weed is a trojan horse they want vertical integration massive money up front like another words you have to buy a warehouse and will have so many square feet of plants good for consumers bad for local businesses
Monocropping is usually bad but its a weed so it may be an excecption
As long as people are not locked up in jail for weed thats all I care about...
