The panel has traditionally played an influential role in advising the CFPB’s leadership on new regulations and policies. But some members, who include prominent consumer advocates, academics and industry executives, began to complain that Mulvaney was ignoring them and making unwise decisions about the agency’s future.

My thoughts on this news

This is exactly what it looks like when corrupt corporatists have taken over the government. They destroy agencies and policies that were designed to help American people. The entire purpose of the Comsumer Financial Protection Bureau is to protect American consumers from getting scammed by corporations and having their money stolen by corporations. They have returned millions of dollars over the years to consumers that have been scammed. Mulvaney is a corporatist who does not care abou the American people and does not care that corporations steal money from Americans, that is why he is destroying this agency...
