Former South Africa president, Zuma has been battling with prosecutors over alleged wrongdoings which involve 16 charges concerning corruption, racketeering and money-laundering.

He was in court for trial concerning the wrongdoings which he keeps denying in Durban on Friday and hearings was on for about thirty minutes before the court decided to adjourn the trial to 27th of July at Pietermaritzburg.
The charges focus on his arms dealings in 1990s while Zuma was a provincial official and was first brought up in 2016.
Zuma and his lawyers have requested for the case to be dropped as he complained about being targeted by political witch-hunt and that the charges are based on falsehood information before the Friday court hearing.
The former president was met with praises and full and dance by his supporters who were singing his name and had banners to display their belief in Zuma. He was seen laughing, hugging and shaking hands with the people that were waiting for him outside during the trial.
Zuma left his position as the South Africa president in February this year and was met with praises throughout the African continent for his decision to step down as many countries even awarded him titles. It turned out that leaving his position was not his entire decision but he was pressed by the same party that brought him to power. What is surprising is the fact that this same party is the ruling party and the same party that made him the president of South Africa.
His then deputy, who became the next president after Zuma's resignation, Ramaphosa gave his all in overseeing that Zuma is prosecuted as he has made fighting corruption his topmost priority ever since he replaced his former boss.

While this looks much like a political fight, the former president have lots to answer to as he cannot prove his innocence towards the accusations.
