Portrait Contest week 25 - Entry 3, Black and White
This is as basic as it gets, I simply placed a softbox behind her in order to get a perfectly white background and exposed so that she was in complete silhouette. I take a photo like this of nearly everyone that I photograph, with this photo of Allison being one of my favorites.

Amazing shot! It's silhouetted yet there is still plenty of legibility in the shadows. It is mysterious, intriguing. There is a certain kind of calmness. It is graciously soft. The movement of the hair makes it dynamic too.
And all this is done with just one softbox. Stunning skills!
