EOS RAM Issue is Highly Disappointing
RAM cost on EOS is Rs 230/KB or 3.38 $/KB. This is very expensive. And bad part is RAM for EOS network can not be increased. In order to increase RAM 2/3rd Block producers have to have consensus which is not forthcoming.
The impact of this high cost of RAM is that dApp developers are squeezed out. They can not afford to develop any applications on EOS forget about running the dApp.
Everybody including @dan is in a fix to fix the issue. And untill this issue is fixed there will not be any development of any dApp. Therefore, the whole network may remain unutilized.
The EOS token till then is merely a trading token for RAM hoarders and speculators.
As a result the EOS price has plummeted since the controversy has been picked by crypto media. The controvery has potential to damage EOS reputation way more from here.
