One of the largest and leading gaming platforms in South Korea Nertmarble's chairman while speaking to newsmen from the media outlets EDaily stated that he believes the blockchain technology would be applied across all industries in the world. Chairman of Nertmarble Bang Joon Hyuk while responding to questions from college students about the future of the amazing blockchain technology stated the blockchain technology with the reliability, security and objectivity can and will be applied to all industries in the world in the future. Also, Joon Hyuk when asked if the blockchain technology's popularity is a bubble, he compared it to that of the internet. He said that at that time, the internet was not a bubble and now that it has been applied and helpful in all industries. He further states that the blockchain technology is not a bubble for all that have invested in Bitcoin but that it is a bubble to all that is ignorant of the potentials this technology has. He went further to state that blockchain like the internet would be adopted and by various industries in the years to come.

Another prediction for the blockchain technology is the statement made by the Marcelo Cessar who is this chairman of the Malta Bank Association. Cessar whole speaking to newsmen stated that the blockchain technology is every banker's dream and that the technology would ensure that the financial sector of countries are developed. Cessar further revealed that the blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies which are built on it are here to stay. As a word of advice, he stated that the traditional banks should do all in their power to ensure that they evolve and offer features that these cryptocurrencies offer with the help of the blockchain technology. He revealed that if banks are not evolving that this technology might bring an end to their reign. He further states that this blockchain technology is the biggest innovation the 21st century has seen and that it will definitely improve all industries if adopted.

These are a few of the predictions that have been made concerning the blockchain technology. Some are of the opinion that the blockchain technology is not worth the hype, they have predicted that the blockchain is too flawed to experience a global or mainstream adoption. Others have stated that the scalability issue that plagues the blockchain technology might be the end of it.
